An eco-bus into Alma-Arasan Gorge for a short mountain walk and optional hot springs, riverside trails, coffee at Tary, then Kok-Tobe hill.

Charyn Canyon, Kolsay & Kaindy
An early, long day out: Charyn Canyon and Black Canyon photo stops, Kolsay Lake, the village of Saty, and the sunken-forest Kaindy Lake before the drive back to Almaty.

Shymbulak & city tour
The Shymbulak ski resort, Zenkov Cathedral, Panfilov Park and the Green Bazaar.
